GAINESVILLE, Fla.–Due to numerous schedule changes throughout the 2020 season, Gainesville Raceway is adjusting the structure of it’s ET Bracket Series.
After the final points race on September 12, each racer will have their lowest race dropped from the standings. Previously, the lowest two races were dropped from each racers’ total. Each racer that attends all points races in 2020 will still receive 25 bonus points after the final points race.
September 12 is the final points race of the season with racing set to begin at 2 p.m. There will be two rounds of time trials before before eliminations begin. After winners are determined in each class, the King of the Track ladder will begin.
The 2020 Summit ET Series at Gainesville Raceway features six classes of racing, including FB Trailers Super Pro, Rollins Automotive Pro, Sportsman, Super Pro Bike, Pro Bike, and Allen Speed & Machine Jr. Dragsters. All classes including Juniors will have Compulink Tru-Start turned on for 2020 season. All classes except Juniors will be on Auto Start, Juniors will use a manual tree.
